Dr. Ajay Gupta, MLA from the Central Assembly Constituency, today inaugurated development work to improve three parks in the Shakti Nagar area. MLA Dr. Gupta stated that all parks in the Central Assembly Constituency will be renovated. He stated that the renovation work in Shakti Nagar has begun today. Within the next month, all parks will be equipped with all kinds of amenities.MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta stated that municipal officials have been instructed to remove the city’s old, dilapidated large water tanki . The Municipal Corporation is initiating the tender process. He stated that the water tank in Shakti Nagar Park was constructed approximately 50 years ago and is in poor condition. Fencing is being done around the area around the tanki . So that no one can go around this tanki and any kind of accident occurs.MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta said that development work is continuously being carried out in all the wards of the Central Assembly constituency for the convenience of the people.He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab is providing all kinds of facilities to the people. He said that under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme, pilgrims are being sent to visit religious places. This scheme launched by the Punjab government to encourage people to visit religious places is a commendable initiative. He said that under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme, buses of pilgrims are continuously being sent to visit religious places from the Central Assembly constituency.MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta said that construction work has been started on four important roads leading to Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. He said that the four roads will be improved and given a heritage look. All electricity and other wires passing over these roads will also be buried underground. He said that the construction of these four radial roads will be completed in the next four months. Councillors Vicky Dutta, Indrajit Dutta, Subhash Billu, Chirag Kumar, Manu Kumar, Titu Paji, Municipal Corporation officials and a large number of people from the area were present on the occasion.
